juice-bar-happy-hourWell I am already sick to death of the A-Rod saga…how about you. I have friends that all feel the same way. Tired, tired, tired.  Let’s just get a big name release party out so we can all talk about the 103 remaining guys all at once so that we can see that steroids really helped some of them…wonder who some of them are…and discuss why it didn’t help the rest. But, we will instead be treated to 103 more days just like yesterday and today. F***!

Now, Miguel Tejada is being charged with lying to investigators, baseball union’s former union chief is crying, Mr. Hicks feels betrayed for A Rod putting butts in the seats in Arlington….all the while I get the feeling that real fans could care less. Seriously – I consider myself an avid sports fan – who converses everyday with knowledgeable and avid sports fans…I can’t find one person who gives this a second thought. So where are all of these drama queen sports fans that are so thoroughly sickened by the whole ordeal…show me. I guarantee you they aren’t really sports fans – but instead Yankee haters or uninformed idiots.

Here at Sparty and Friends things weren’t all about the juice all day…or at least we tried not to. As Sparty accurately pointed out in TMA – we arent reporting sports right now because it is February…We are reporting headlines. I must applaud Sparty for introducing me to the UFL…seriously – I had never heard of it before that post.

TWTWCBB got me back in non steroids sports mode for a while…underrated must read column every week as I use it to research my bracketology theorys for the middle of March – which can’t get here soon enough.

Finally, GITC passed along the sad news of the death of X Games rider and Extreme Athlete Jeremy Lusk….Jeremy was 24. RIP Jeremy.
