GatorTrey’s Getting Better…Bowl Projections
Only a few weeks remain in the season, giving me fewer chances to really screw the pooch on this bad boy. A little ground rules.
- I’m assuming NO major upsets, therefore I’m not predicting FIU to knock off Florida.
- This is going to be one of those seasons where a team that merely QUALIFIES is probably going somewhere. We are very close to having a catastrophic scenario where we don’t have enough teams qualified for bowl…I have NO clue what would happen in that case, but I’m sure it would benefit the major conferences.
- I’m pretty objective, don’t call me a homer. Seriously…I’ll choke you.
- Note: Teams in Red are there because their were not enough qualifiers from the auto-selection.

The selection process.
Losing BCS #1 Florida, the Sugar will get dibs, followed by the Fiesta for losing BCS #2 Texas. Georgia Tech will go to the Orange Bowl as their tie in. Oregon and Ohio State to the Rose as their regular tie ins.
Sugar – Alabama (At-Large)
Fiesta – Penn State (At-Large) Note: this could easily be Iowa too.
Orange – TCU (Highest Ranked Non-Qualifier)
Fiesta- Boise State (At-Large) – Note: It was between Boise and Okie State. I think they go with Boise (for now)
Sugar- Cincy (Big East Champ)

It’s true that this season didn’t turn out as hoped and Sparty is always a tough place to play for us, but I do think we have the better overall team even if Cousins is better than Clark. Hell I could say stuff like Bowman > Jones or Royster > all Michigan State running backs
