Read the link. The specifics do not sound like there’s much benefit of the doubt to be handed out. If in fact the allegations are found to be true, they should be expelled from the team and school.
Vol football players charged with attempted armed robbery near UT campus
The alleged offenders are Nu’Keese Richardson, Janzen Jackson, and Mike Edwards. All are freshmen.

Jackson was suspended for last week’s game against Memphis for reportedly failing a drug test as well as off-the-field immaturity. Richardson had made it known for the last couple of weeks that he was unhappy with his lack of playing time and missed the Vols’ Sunday practice the day after the team’s win against South Carolina.

husker – I’m so mad still. it’s really effed up my day. I was getting excited about Tennessee football again and was feeling great about all the young talent. these guys just killed that. and, they should be in jail if this is all true.
