The Morning After: October 22, 2009

By mizerle06

The Morning AfterGood morning Friends.  Before we get started with this morning’s links, I’d like to promote sumpin’: the ESPN 30 for 30 programs.  I’ve watched the Gretzky show and now the USFL show.  They’re captivating and entertaining.  The USFL show made me wish I was old enough to have cared about that league back then.  The interviews with Keith Jackson, Charlie Steiner, Burt Reynolds, Jim Lampley, Doug Flutie, Jim Kelly, Steve Young, etc. were awesome.  I really recommend catching reruns if you can…I’m sure there will be PLENTY of opportunities.

A CD-sized spider is my nightmare (make sure to read to the end).

So he won’t yell at me…here’s the link to S&F commenter and contributor CBH49er’s week 8 Hail Mary post…must be some kind of religious thing.

The SEC has suspended the infamous ref crew that worked the LSeaUx-UGA and UF-Arkiesaw games.  Calling Ron Cherry!

Wanna know how to be a Bammer fan?  Here ya go!  (flowcharts!!)

All ARod, all the time!  Woot!

Sam Bradford is Brett-Favre’ing his surgery decision.

Mark Cuban has an opinion on steroids.  It might surprise you…but it’s Cuban, so it might not.

It’s probably not that Bammer likes to cheat, it’s just that they really can’t help it.

Are you ready for Windows 7?

Great info: the NFL’s Week 7 broadcast schedules.

Happy 40th birthday to Monty Python.

Australia loves them some Tiger Woods.

Bammer fan. (prolly NSFW and/or NSFKBD…keeping breakfast down)

Rams give Steven Jackson the Denver-to-Jay Cutler treatment.

Send the Mets to jail!

Celebrity look-alike sperm…apparently Favre and Jeremy Shockey are pretty popular.

Bammer!!1!1!!11!!!!Here’s an interesting stat about the Lakers playoff wins.

All this ARod haterade coming from Bwoston sounds a little like envy to me…

JoePa said he isn’t scared of the Big House.  Then he asked, “where is that, again?”  (check the “Notes” down at the bottom…apparently Goldy Gopher hates God.)

Greg McElroy should call Steve Phillips to see if he can recommend a slump-buster.

Phillies in 5.

Here’s a little bit of history on Bammer’s national championships:
