tma-weekendYes, today is Thursday and I’m using the weekend TMA logo.  I think some genius that may or may not write here that definitely doesn’t go by the callname mizerle06 may have deleted it from our library.  Golf clap to whoever you are, sir. /sarcasm

Anywho, this must be familial birthday week here at S&F.  Yesterday was GatorTrey’s mom’s b-day, and today is my youngest brother’s birthday.  What does he get for his birthday?  A trip home!  He’s currently deployed in Iraq, and it just so happened that he was able to schedule his leave so that he arrived back here in The States in time for his b-day.  He’s 21 today, so I’ll prolly take him out for a brewsky in a couple of weekends when I get to see him.  So, happy birthday, bro.

Onto some links…

Limbaugh was dropped from the bid for a stake in the St. Louis Rams. I guess you could say Rush was looking for that One Little Victory but ended up a Far Cry from winning In The End…oh, and Tom Sawyer just for the heck of it.

Yo Gotti is gonna drop a lyric at Memphis Madness tomorrow night.

Smooth move, exlax.

An update on Emmanuel Negedu.

A really crazy and scary series cnn.com is running right now…fascinating reads, but just plain scary.

Who’s gonna survive the first, first ballot for the NASCAR HOF?

CBH49er brings us another Week 7 College Football cram session.

Drunk Billy got paid!!

Is Mark Richt’s career path looking familiar to anyone?  *cough – Fulmer – cough*

Whoa, whoa, whoa…how did I miss a TO-to-Chicago trade rumor?

Uh oh, tension in the Jags lockerroom?

Speaking of Jaw’juh, a great read on the history of The Hedges.  Interestingly, the hedges are Ligustrum…one full side of my house is bordered by Ligustrum hedges.  Guess who’s digging up a bunch of bushes this weekend!

In today’s “WTF!?”-news, Tyson and Holyfield…on Oprah.   Word on the street is it’s an Oprah’s Favorite Things segment where each audience member receives a Half Pounder, a facial tattoo, and a piece of her ear removed.  Sweet.

The elder douche rocket Forcier is disagreeing with Dick Rod.

Famous blogger Cousins of Ron Mexico has a new gig.

A bunch of blabber Some good info on the ACC.  By the way, don’t forget to hang out for a few minutes over at College Game Balls for tonight’s collaborative CGB and S&F college football open thread.

Adam Nougateiri is gonna be sidelined for a few.

Calling out lurker and commenter The Beard…here’s some Bammer hate.

Souvenir City obviously hates education.

Aaaaaaand, I’ve run out of links.  I hope you all have a great next-to-last day of the business week!
