The Morning After: May 29, 2009

By sparty

The Morning AfterYaaaaawwwwwn!  Man, it feels like it has been about 6 days since I last did one of these.   *feels tap on shoulder* Wait, it has been 6 days? Thanks, Miz.  What would I do without you?

On a completely separate note, the wife and I have officially taken a stand and determined that we are getting this kid of ours potty-trained, now!  Two days in and several dirty underpants and jeans later, I think we had our first breakthrough last night when he excused himself to use the bathroom all by himself.  Made a huge deal out of it, gave him a couple stickers, a lollipop and let him watch TV for the first time all day.  Very proud of him.  Yep, this was the highlight of my day.  For you without kids, you will understand one day.

And that is how you fill the opening of The Morning After

Let’s get the day started with a video.  Here are some touchdown dances by the incoming rookies:

I actually like Stafford’s TNT explosion the best. Moreno’s chainsaw ain’t that bad.

Carlos Zambrano was suspended 6 games for acting like a 2-year old the other day.

We now have another Doc Gooden comparison on our hands. It was nice knowing you, Rick Porcello.

Brett Myers may need surgery. The answer for every pitcher throwing like ass.

Ned Colletti is on the lookout for pitching. Did someone tell him that he once had Brady Penny in his rotation?

When I finally had to take a 20 min rest, I read Bill Simmons latest article. I agree with about half of it. Enough with the whining about how the Knicks and the Pistons ruined the game.

It makes me so happy to see Shannon Brown doing well. But he still pisses me of because him and Neitzel would have tore it up for his senior.

DeJuan Blair is out to prove he is no Stanley Roberts.

The Joe Mauer to _____ is already underway. I say he never leaves Minny.

Sergio Garcia is a prom queen.

And you all thought Michigan State fans were sore losers.

Cats suck.
