Happy Hour returns for a special edition.
Spoiler Alert!!! Stay far away from this post if you have not yet seen the episodes leading up to the Season 7 Finale tonight. Intel will be discussed.
Tonight’s Episode: Bottom line, Jack is going to help his old friend/enemy Tony Almeida escape FBI custody so that he can save the life of his daughter, Kim. The Presidents daughter who happens to be the acting Chief-of-Staff orchestrated an assassination of a gov’t witness, and it comes to light to the Prez because good ole Secret Service Agent Pierce is all about justice. Will the President turn her daughter in? Will Jack kill Tony? How will Kim be saved? What will be the cliffhanger that keeps us counting the days until next January? On top of all this, Jack is dying from being infected by a biological weapon about 10 hours ago. However, there is an experimental treatment that can save his life, but Kim must be saved.
Holy crap, that is a lot to wrap up in just 2 hours. 24 really pushed the limits this season with the amount of events that are happening in a 24 hour period. Pretty funny that Jack gets around one of the most confusing cities in the country in no time. Of course, he never dealt with traffic when he was in LA.
I have to say, this season has been pretty good for the most part. Having Tony playing the double agent was pretty genius by the writers. You wonder if that part was re-written because of the writers strike the year prior when the show’s production was halted. Tony was always a fan favorite, so hopefully he escapes and returns for next season which is supposed to take place in NYC. My only request for the next season is that we get a President that everyone loves or completely hates. Presidents Palmer and Logan were great because they were complete opposites. Casting a female in the role of the President was a big mistake. I expect the writers to really step it up next season, now that there will be an entire year of new politics in Washington to go after. Oh, and more Kim.

The problem is that when I miss the beginning then I fast forward the commericials. When it is seen live then I can use the PIP to see when the ads are up and watch sports.
