I fear that at 37 years old I may be going through a mid life crisis. Whats scares me about this is that if I am indeed going through a mid life crisis at 37…I will only live to be 74. On second thought this may not be so bad. Why do I feel this way? Well – I’ve been sick to death with being a fat ass (even though I was not really fat to begin with) and started doing something about it no too long ago. I lost 15 lbs…now  I feel like thats not enough and I will be starting P90X today. Why am I telling you about it? Well, I guess this way when I quit in a week you guys will all give me shit and then motivate me to get back on it. On second thought…you guys probably don’t give a shit either. What’s cool about it is that I will take before and afters…and you can judge for yourself if the program works.

On to the links and stuff….Have you guys noticed th complete lack of controversy lately in sports…or have we all just become immune to it. A Rods book will be released today…But its more circus now than controversy. I kinda wish a blogger or someone would dig up dirt on Selena Roberts…just for the Hell of it. I find it funny that these people that write these tell alls  probably cheat on their taxes, their spouses, there expense reports, and all kinds of other random crap…but they expose the cheating of athletes as though as though they are judge and jury. Think about this…ARod cheated to get ahead in his career…Mark Fainaru Wada and Selena Roberts cheated by getting “sealed” testimony to get ahead in their career. Why is one so different than the other?

Speaking of Roberts…did you guys know we can’t fully take her crap at face value anyways? Selena Roberts famously compared the Duke LAX player to gang members and criminals. Remeber the media frenzy surrounding that? Hmmm..Seems like a media frenzy now too. Coincidence? Jason Whitlock doesn’t think so. The following  article convinces me as well…Selena Roberts is probably full of shit.

I guess as far as controversy goes….two dudes exposing themselves happen to play for the Saints. Now, these dudes were actually taking a piss…and shoulda just finished and been on their way…but is this worthy of a 911 call? From the Article….

Both men are on the Saints’ 80-man roster, but neither has appeared in a game with New Orleans.

Fringe Sports Alert!

In the NHL this weekend Tiger couldn’t come from behind again for some reason. Sean O’Hair didnt crumble and captured the Quail Hollow Championship on the Tour…Funny how Tiger not winning leads the headlines instead of the dude who actually won…this happens at all the websites…we just follow the masses……

In NASCAR, Miz and Trey and a few rednecks saw Kyle Busch win in Richmond. JacChx went to the race and had VIP tix….cant wait to hear about this at some point.

Speaking of “at some point” ……at some point I think we need to do a Dale Jr. is over rated post here at S&F….either that or he needs a new crew chief. 27th…seriously?

“Mine that Bird” won the Kentucky Derby…and may not race in the Preakness? Canacel any interest I have in watching that race with no chance of a triple crown on the line.

D Wade is on Summer vacation now….So is Ben Gordon. While the Bulls got a lot of credit for playing the Celtics so close…. can we be realistic? They aren’t as good as the Celtics…not even close. Ultra Douche Kevin Garnett probably woulda helped the Celts to a 4 game sweep if he hadn’t hurt himself being douchey.
