From the Desk of Mr. Obvious: The Worm is Slimy

rodmanDennis Rodman has his name back in the news again.  All it took was harassing a “beverage manager” in Las Vegas back in 2006.  Observe:

Ure is a former beverage manager at the Hard Rock Casino. She accused Rodman of grabbing her and forcing her to dance, holding her against her will and slapping her backside in front of subordinates and patrons.

Now, Dennis owes her a cool $225,000.  I hope the dance was good.

By the way, Dennis has a bit of history in Vegas:

In 1997, Rodman was ordered to pay dealer James Brasich $80,000 after Brasich was assaulted at a craps table at the MGM Grand. According to court records, Rodman, situated next to Brasich at the craps table, rubbed the dealer’s balding head, chest and genitals during the game.

On four occasions in 1998, Rodman was sued for fondling the breasts of three cocktail waitresses and a security guard at the Las Vegas Hilton. In 1999, Rodman grabbed and broke a woman’s camera after she snapped pictures of him in the lobby of the MGM Grand. He also grabbed the woman’s arms, the complaint states.

Keep on keepin’ it real, Dennis.

i threw up in my mouth around 1am the other night. it must have been from eating half of my sons chicken fingers, french fries, a cheeseburger, then 5 slices of pizza.

or, i had a nightmare about that pic. either way, both seem quite viable.

still can’t believe that is the same guy who would break down when he would win the defensive player of the year award, and was so shy when it came to speaking with the media while he was with detroit.

Rodman was one of my favorite players growing up, loved the tenacity he played with.

Bought both of his books, my Dad was fine with it, my Mom wasn’t, he was very polarizing in the 90’s.
