The Morning After: March 29, 2009

By patphish

tma-weekend Good Morning. And what a fine morning it is. Birds are chirping, squirrels are making more squirrels and my coffee tastes just a little bit better than usual. I wonder why that is. Is it because I can now buy some sweet seats for the Mets at their new park? Nope, I can’t really afford $495 per seat per game anyway. Is it because my Chicago Bulls are now even with the Pistons and playing some good ball? No, they will still get probably get swept in the first round by Cleveland, Orlando or the Celts. No, today is special because I get to utter my five favorite words………………..

I F’in told you so! The FNCUH took care of business and advanced to their 3rd Final Four in a decade. The main reason why? On Saturday it was freshman Kemba Walker’s ability to run through the Mizzou press all day. I love New York City point guards. They love to dribble all day long and are great at breaking full court pressure. The kid got it done.

In other Big East action, Scottie Reynolds went all Tyus Edny on Pitt and advanced the Cats to the promised land. I really hope they get and beat UNC.

Hey Sparty, maybe your boy could call my boy who then became your boy about hooking him up with a Hannibal Lector original?

I wish we had won more? Dude, you need to talk to Herm.

Spencer’s real name is Peter? Who knew?

Hey Mikey, maybe Mark could explain twitter to you.

Traded. Then Traded.

Stick to music, the Yankees are old enough.

It’s official (at least to me it is), Michigan will start the Frosh QB.

The first time I ever really gambled, I won some cash when my dad dropped a fin on this horse for me.

It’s a huge lead, but playing in the final pair with Mr. Woods is never a sure thing.

For Johnny and my Wife.

I hope it comes back, its fun as hell to watch.

Just Because: Craiglists rules.

Enjoy the day and although we are this, I know better than to mess with the boss, Go Sparty!
