Yep, the NCAA tournament calls for a special edition of College Basketball Comments. We had some pretty exciting games to open round 2 yesterday. Today, we close round 2. And, if the tourney trends hold, expect a few upsets today.
Here’s what we saw yesterday:
Memphis pounded Maryland in the frst half and cruised in the second, LSU kept it interesting for the first half until UNC woke up and ran off with the game, Texas hung with Duke but too many mistakes eventually caught up with them, UConn squashed A&M, Oklahoma handled Michigan, Gonzaga needed 59:59.1 to beat WKU, Nova had little trouble against UCLA, and Purdue provided our only upset of the day with their thrilling win over Washington.
