Last night had some history made and some streaks broken. Let’s start with those streaks. The Wizards had won two games in a row and the Celtics had lost two in a row. Let’s just say that when they met in DC last night those streaks were predictably broken despite a Wizards lead to start the 4th quarter. I was watching the game and knew the entire time that we had no chance. The Bucks beat the Heat last night and the only reason I can really find is bad Heat guard-play. Flash had an off night and Dud Skip was awful. The Grizz beat the Lakers despite Stud Kobe dropping a double-quatro (although not despite his three assists) and beating out Jerry West for the #1 spot on the Lakers all-time scoring list. Congrats to Kobe. Back to the Grizz though, since their opening night lost to the Pistons, they are 18-5 at home. The five losses are Blazers, Bucks, Thunder, Celtics, and the Hornets in OT. The wins include Mavs, Cavs, Nuggs, Jazz, Spurs, Suns, Thunder, Magic, and now Lakers. That’s one bad loss and nine quality wins. If the season ended today (which it won’t, I think) they would have a playoff spot. Props. The Suns beat the Hornets in what should have been a Steve Nash vs. Chris Paul showdown. Boo. The Nuggs beat the Kings with help from Stud K-Mart. The Jazz beat the Mavs in game where two Studs (D-Will, P-’sap) beat one Stud (Dirk). In the last game the Blazers blitzed the Bobcats behind nobody in particular. They just happen to be a lot better as a team.

More on the Griz, they are 24-11 since AI was dropped.
They’re a pretty good young team that is getting better. If they can make a good move at the deadline to get a bench player or two, they can turn some heads in the West.
I like that team a lot. GatorTrey(Quote)
they can have tayshaun and rip for a 1st round pick. sparty(Quote)
so they can blow up their salary cap?
Honestly, they won’t be spending. The team is in DEEP financial debt and people aren’t showing up for games.
I think they add guys like…Ryan Gomes GatorTrey(Quote)

i know the money doesn’t work. but i bet you anything that the pistons would be a better team without them. sparty(Quote)
I enjoyed Simmons’ tweet today, that the Bulls’ goal for a starting lineup next season should be Noah, Bosh, Lebron, Rose and Johnson. john(Quote)

Captain of British soccer team cheated on his wife with his teammate’s girlfriend. Now the Brits have something to talk about and good thing is that the US plays them first.
