The Morning After The Morning After: January 14, 2010

By mizerle06

The Morning AfterSo, I’ve had a full day to let it all soak in, and you know what?  I don’t even care anymore.  No, really…I just don’t care.  *opens 10 new tabs to check all the Big Orange-related websites I know* I’m tired of my life revolving around who the next coach at Tennessee is going to be.  I’m just gonna relax today and sit back to observe Mike Hamilton do his job and bring a respectable, good coach to Tennessee.  *maximizes window to see if there’s any new info* I devoted a lot of energy to the Lane Kiffin era and it’s time to scale back. *wait…there are no twitter accounts open in my tabs! how will I know if something breaks!?* So, I’m turning over a new leaf…I’m not going to fret all day and won’t even force feed you any links this morning pertaining to Tennessee’s coaching search.  I promise.

Look, Gene, I know you’re an alum with a much larger platform and audience then most, but the AD?  Really??  I’m not following your justifications on this.

The only obvious solution to this growing problem is to kill all the birds.

I like this little gadget.  It takes Pete Carroll approximately 25 games to equal my salary.  He’s obviously a chump.

Speaking of Petey, this strategy worked so well for The Ol’ Ball Coach that it must be repeated!

College football!!  Numbers!!!!  W00T!! (2004-2009 aggregate wins and losses)

Super Bowl advertising prices have dropped, but are still pretty high.

This is just straight up ri-di-cu-lous.

Just because: I think we all may need to brush up on Will Muschamp’s history…I’m not sayin’, I’m just sayin’.

Food fight!!

This NFL antitrust stuff sounds all lawyer-y and important.  Someone explain it please.

Nick $aban would never tie his shoes during a game.  If they became untied, he would follow standard protocol and curse them to hell.  Therefore, $aban > Mack Brown.

Sandy Koufax speaks!

Patphish has got next, right after Knightro gets rolled.

350 per second?  Pffffffffffffffffft…weaksauce.

The Astros are…how should I say this?…expensive?  Yeah, expensive.

The best ever recruiting class in the history of the best ever classes ever!?!?  Yes.

Have a good day and stick around.
