The Morning After: Black Friday

By sparty

blackfriday6

JRod probably thought he had the day off today, and he really didn’t.  But I ain’t mad about that.

GIANTS SUCK! That’s what makes me mad.  Used to be so much more physical than everyone else up front on the d-line and the o-line. They are just getting pushed around.

I can only imagine what Dallas will do to the Giants defense next week. They put up almost 500 yards on their way to beating the Raiders.

Looked like the momentum from their last game was going to carry the Lions early, but then Green Bay stomped them.

The Longhorns have had a dominating offense all season.  They struggled against A&Ms spread option offense.  If they were that exposed, they better pray that Bammer beats Florida.

Bunch of college basketball went on yestereday that nobody watched.  An entire slew of games happen today, highlighted by UConn vs Duke. Duke Sucks.

And I got nothing else.  Enjoy the day off.

Headed out way too early and got home way too late yesterday to extend holiday wishes. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and traveled safely. Mine was great as I made TWO stops yesterday. No work or shopping for me today, after all that food yesterday I am having a “Kirstie Alley” Friday! My Christmas shopping is already finished!

@cycledan – maybe you could take some leftovers to your dad today. Just a thought. Best wishes buddy.

    GO AUBURN!!!

I think it’s weird that no college football team is that good this season. Kind of like the NBA last year.

I’m at the office too…until 1. Attempted to go to Target at 8 AM for the Wii game deal and portable DVD player for $47, but the lines were a mile long, so I thought I’d try again after 1:00 PM.

Thanks. I visited him with my older son last night. I think it was rough on my son to see his grandfather losing his mind. But my Dad was so happy to see him so it was a good thing.

Sportswise, it has been tough lately NFL-wise for my Jets adn Giants so at least my Syracuse Orange (hoops) are playing great lately. Going to UConn to see Syracuse vs. UConn in football. Cuse is a 14 pt or so dog so not too many high hopes but they did beat Rutgers last week so maybe there is some life in them.

Hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving!

Interesting sociolgical point. Europeans get trampled for soccer, Americans for sales at stores. Hmmm. Not sure which society is indicted worse for their priorities.

Without a doubt, the Giants are playing their worst football in a few years. I am not sure if it is injuries or lack of intensity or just plain getting worn out. They are getting beat on the line of scrimmage and that doesn’t bode well. If Giants don’t win the next 3 against the 3 NFC East opponents, they are probably not going to make the playoffs.
