The Big Ten enters their final week of play this week, and quite honestly, if they want to complain about how long their layoff is, they should add a bye week into their scheduling or finally find a team to join and have a friggin conference championship. I honestly don’t think it matters that they have 2 extra weeks off compared to the other leagues, just get the job done in the bowl games. I hate pathetic excuses, really.
1. Florida v Florida International – And the Gators ridiculously gauntlet of an OOC schedule continues.
2. Alabama v Chatanooga – Echo
3. Texas v Kansas – Kansas will get an up close look at their new head coach.
4. TCU v Wyoming – We have reached the stage of “just don’t F it up,” when it comes to the Horned Frogs.
6. Boise State @ Utah St- We have reached the stage of “just F it up,” when it comes to the Broncos.
8. LSU @ Ole Miss – Good vote by Spurrier.
10. Ohio State @ Michigan – Still the best rivalry in all of college football, even though Ohio State has owned the Wolverines this decade. Doesn’t change this year.
11. Oregon @ Arizona – Ducks win, they solidify my chest beating about them at the start of the a season.
13. Iowa v Minnesota – I think the wheels come off this week for Iowa.
14 Penn State @ Michigan State – UPSET ALERT! Remember Devin Thomas doing everything a couple years ago against the Nittany Lions? Keep an eye on Keshawn Martin. This game is for the ugliest trophy in college football. If Sparty wins, this will be the 3rd season in row with at least 7 wins for the first time in decades. Now that is mediocrity.

im nervous about michigan this year.
just seems TOO much in favor of the skunkbears…buckeyes have nothing to play for, michigan is fighting for bowl eligibility, rich rod has a lot at stake, OSU’s trotting out strange new fauxbacks, it’s in meeeechigan…
im just saying, i do NOT feel good about saturday.

im tellin’ you sparty…this OSU team isn’t that good in general, but even less so when facing a quick strike spread. of course it works against bonerholsters like iowa and PSU, but michigan is a different story. if OSU loses…it’ll be the worst loss i’ll have witnessed in my decade+ as a buckeye fan.

The Buckeyes had this game in mind when they scheduled Navy (which was just added to the schedule a year ago). But, Navy does that offense better than Michigan, and also has a better defense. Either way, this is the offense that beats the Buckeyes.
On a totally unrelated note – this top 14 schedule is about as week as you will ever see in November. Florida’s only win this year against a ranked team is LSU, Alabama has beaten Virginia Tech and LSU, Texas beat Oklahoma State… and that’s it for the top 3. TCU at least has wins over BYU, Utah, and Clemson (2 on the road). Cincinnati’s only ranked win is over Oregon State…. Boise State beat Oregon (and for the record, LSU hasn’t beaten any ranked teams but still gets high marks because its only losses are to the top 2 teams, until this week-end).
