I speak for the rest of Mississippi when I say we don’t want it. Hell, the majority of the people you’d want are moving to NW Mississippi anyway. Tennessee or R-Kansas can have the rest.

Though Trey disagrees with me, there is no way there will ever be a salary cap in baseball unless there is huuuuuuuge TV deal for revenue sharing, like the NFL. You have to have a floor for players to agree, and the owners want to make money if they are still forced to pay high contracts.

The problem is that the owners of big market teams have a business that is worth around a $1 Billion and some of the small market teams probably are worth $200M. Now why would the big market teams just give away the value of their companies just so fans in Milwaukee and KC can win a championship? No other company would do that.
