Man, is anyone else depressed that Week 10 is already here? I try not to think about how the college football season is over halfway completed, but I write these posts where I call out what week it is and it’s a constant reminder. My suffering is for your enjoyment. Anyway, enough about me. We’ve got some more college football action today. As many would say, there aren’t a lot of compelling matchups, but this is college football where anything can, and sometimes does, happen. Let’s take a gander at today’s schedule of matchups:
I’m gonna go ahead and call LSeaUx > Alabama. It’s high time we had some chaos at the top of the polls and the #9 team topping the #3 team in their own building would induce plenty of chaos…especially considering that the Tigers have one loss, and it’s against the #1 team in the country. Picture this: LSeaUx beats Bammer today, wins out and earns a rematch against Florida in the SEC Cahmpionship Game, beats the Gators in the rematch, and jumps up to #2 in the polls to take on Texas for all the marbles. The first domino in this scenario falls tonight in Tuscaloser.

I could have sworn Minnesota was a Division I program, but I guess I was wrong.
(Quote)
In light of the the last 2 weeks shouldn’t you have spelled it purue?
(Quote)
That was a better than average 3 play sequence for Purdue.
(Quote)
It’d be sweet if you guys won and Michigan doesn’t go to a bowl
(Quote)
Down 21-3 after 3 quarters! At least we are not getting woodshed’d!
GO KNIGHTS!!!
(Quote)
Wow I’m starting to get fired up, I need this game to start
Iowa losing would also be a good way to start the day
(Quote)
Damn it! Where is the secondary?
(Quote)
has UCF been getting better the past few years or no? I only halfheartedly follow them

We were C-USA champions a couple of years ago with Kevin Smith. Last year was dismal. This year we have improved. Defense tends to be strong, but our offense is both unimaginative and ineffective most of the time. The D keeps us in games. We don’t have the depth on either side of the ball to hang with the Miamis and Texases of the world. We should finish 7-5 this year with losses to Texas and Miami in there. As Trey has posted we will most likely be headed to the St. Petersburg Bowl to face the fucksticks from South Florida.

(Quote)
michigan doesn’t get the lateral game

(Quote)

Next Saturday is the bowl-eligibility showdown between Purdue and Michigan St.
(Quote)
no, i think the defense would keep them in the game, oregon hasn’t played a defense this good, of course we haven’t played an offense that good either
hell it’s too early to think about that

Sam Young, also known as the swinging gate at left tackle for Notre Dame the last 4 years, was the Florida High School player of the year in 2005. Ahead of Tim Tebow.

blind squirrel meet nut?
(Quote)
apparently ND didn’t lose, there’s not a word about it on espn.com’s front page
(Quote)
no, notre dame is just irrelevant because of Davie/Willingham/Weis.

Day of interesting upsets. Iowa of course was huge and Notre Dame – well we are getting used to them blowing sure wins. Stanford beating Oregon was huge. In hte college pick-em I put them as my 9 point game. Can’t imagine I am the only one to blow big points on that.
As for my Syracuse Orange, all I can say is that at least the last 3 games will be a little easier and maybe they can sneak in a win somewhere. I hope even more that they can beat UConn since I am going to that game. Also going to see the Cuse basketball team at MSG in the Coaches vs Cancer tournament.

Who is more likely to die first, Mangino from Kansas or Rex Ryan from the Jets. I saw Mangino today on TV and he is not the spitting image of health. Maybe we have to put Weis in that group as well.
(Quote)
Only maybe?
(Quote)
Hehehe, OK Weis is in there. I say Mangino goes first.
(Quote)
I am presently driving to South Bend. Weis goes first. Trust me on this.
(Quote)
hey stop in fort wayne on your way!
