I know we got smacked down like little bitches, but those two plays were absolute bullshit.

And just as much as we smacked Iowa around for 58 minutes and then lost with a prevent D in the final 2, we should have won this game after the fumble that was overturned.

It’s essentially the same argument people have with Iowa – no matter how you slice it, they are 9-0, regardless of how they get there. If either fumble was called correctly, State wins that game, regardless of how they get there.

If ANYONE can explain how there was enough video evidence to overturn the first fumble, but not enough to overturn the fumble caused by the ground, to say nothing of the fact that the “immaculate bullshit fumble” play was a forward lateral (they only showed the angle once from the side, but the damn thing went forward), I’d like to hear it. The Spartans got jobbed in that game.

Defensively they’ve looked amazing. Offensively they are a different team than last year, less flash more gash. Addazio is running the leather off of the football and they’re ranked 6th in rushing nationally. They’ve been in control of every game but Arkansas and unlike last year (vs Ole Miss) they won that one.
