Ya know, I feel a little bad about saying this (/sincere), but it was good to see Brett Favre yack the game away yesterday. It brought back not so fond memories of some of his painful performances in the past. To be honest though, I never thought the game was put away until the pick 6, the Vikings kept fighting back. I’m sure the announcers tried blaming the pick on Chester for not catching the ball, but Favre threw a 6′6″ pass to a 5′10″ guy. Very nice returns by Pitt on the pick and Favre’s earlier fumble. I believe that fumble puts Favre within 4 of Warren Moon’s record.
And holey crap, did AP level William Gay on a catch a couple plays before the pick 6. Yeah, I know it’s been all over the place already today, but I wrote this after the game.
