Florida @ LSU Thread

By sparty

The Gator faithful began to lose their hope.  The One that they followed  out of the terror of the Ron Zook era disappeared suddenly.  They weren’t sure what would happen next.  But then news came out that the point spread increased by 2.  What could have led to such a jump?

tebow-returnsYep, the Big Man on Campus is playing tonight, and CBS couldn’t be happier.  Florida would have won anyway, because LSU is fraudtastic.

Other games to follow tonight after the jump

Michigan @ #12 Iowa

Colorado @ #2 Texas (actually 7-0 Buffs at the posting of this)

#22 Georgia Tech @ Florida State

CC, AJ and Pettitte are sooooooo much better than any front 3 on any NL team. Just look at all the pitchers that were struggling this year in the AL and then went over to the NL and suddenly were at their “best.”  (Quote)

this is laughable. Vicente Padilla is a fucking horrible pitcher and pitched 7 scoreless. he’s a fucking drunk that got kicked off the Rangers for his suckitude.  (Quote)

My dad is a huge Yankee fan so I actually kind of like them. I wouldn’t mind seeing them winning the world series. Liking the Yankees is liking capitalism. I just think the Dodgers will beat them is all. But in a 7 game series you never know. I definitely think it will be Yankees vs Dodgers though.  (Quote)

I also think Joe Torre got the shaft. He helped them win 4 world series then management screwed everything up by mortgaging the future for a bunch of overpriced old free agents, of course Torre couldn’t win with them. Now that the Yankees have gotten younger they’re a threat again.  (Quote)

That has a lot more to the superior hitting in the AL. But, good God, the Dodgers have the WORST staff of any of the 8 teams. Unless it’s the Phillies, the NL gets swept.  (Quote)

The Dodgers have the worst staff? Have you been paying attention at all? You could pretty much count on them giving up 3 or less runs 5 out of 7 games this year. I know because I had them in the baseball challenge game on ESPN and they propelled me to the 96th percentile in both halves.  (Quote)

kwsn- Billingsley is their #1. Do you think he is better than CC? You could make and argument for Kershaw, but when AJ is on, he is filthy and unhittable. Now that Molina is catching for him, expect no meltdowns. Pettitte is so much better than Randy Wolf it is retarded. Now with Joba in the BP, nobody has a better BP than the Yanks.  (Quote)

5 more fumbles and Favre would have basically unbreakable records for both fumbles and interceptions. This would make me indescribably happy. I will get my Favre fumbe voodoo doll ready now.  (Quote)

I think Billingsly and Kershaw are better than CC and AJ. The Dodgers have a fantastic bullpen. Pettitte and Rivera are getting old. They are usually very good but sometimes…. well…  (Quote)

    Awesome based on…………..what?
7th in the League is runs. Finished behind the Mets in avg.

The Phillies (the NL team with a line up most resembling an AL team) will pound that staff like Thai hooker. Randy Wolf? AYFKM?  (Quote)

Both ESPN and FIFA’s sites aren’t currently up to date with all 16 qualifiers. By morning they may be, but they aren’t right now. This is the FIFA site, but it doesn’t have Mexico and Chile as qualified even though as of right now they are. U.S. can qualify tonight if they win, but it’s 0-0 right now in progress.
