Good Morning. I write this on Saturday nights, so I am very distracted as I watch Notre Dame run all over Purdue with my wife is screaming in the next room at the Penn State and Iowa disagreement. This is the first time our teams have played at the same time this year, usually she gets the plasma and I get the old Sony Trinitron, the original flat screen tv. The Sony is in my man cave, so it works for me. Right now the Irish are up 17-7 and the Lions lead 10-2.
Timmy got KTFO, I am by no means a Gator fan, but I do think the kid deserves the accolades and is good for college football, I hope he is all right.

This week: Titans +3 over Jets. I’m a Jets fan and I’m thrilled with the ways things have gone. The Titans are desperate at 0-2, their defense got embarrassed last week and they have a great coach. They will throw looks at Sanchez that he’s never seen and make him look a little more like the rookie he is.
Giants -7.5 over Tampa. I’m 2 for 2 picking Tampa to lose and not cover. They still stink. This week they play an actual good team. Giants light ‘em up. Think 30-6.

At 1-3, MSU needs to pick a QB, a starting RB and find anyone who can cover. Four games should be enough to determine who should be playing and who is a back-up.

Cousins should be the qb. unless he completely implodes during a game, nichols should not see the field. Larry Caper should be the tailback. Reminds me so much of Ringer. patient, just enough speed, and surprisingly powerful. the offense overall isn’t the issue, with the lone acception of the qb rotation. it has to stop.
I would love to blame the secondary, but the defensive line is putting them on an island. more often than not, it is the front 7 that make a secondary look good or bad. you cannot let a qb have 5 seconds to throw the ball each time he drops back.

narduzzi needs to use more zone blitzing, try something to confuse the offensive lines. they telegraph their blitz every friggin time. there isn’t enough talent on the dline to do what they have been doing.
