Back in the 80s when I was just a young whippersnapper I loved watching Buck Rogers. It was such a fun show with outrageous plot lines which made it even more fun. I always thought it would be super cool to live in the future but only if I was the only one from this time period so I could be some sort of novelty like him. So given the chance to have that happen would I choose it? There’s no guarantee the future will be awesome, for all I know the Earth could be destroyed by a comet 200 years down the road and my decision would totally screw me. But still, I think I would take the chance and see what happened. I’m fairly optimistic that 500 years from now will kick total ass and it’d be even more amazing for me than normal people living then because it would all be so new to me. Plus I’d be an instant celebrity and get to do all the cool stuff celebrities do now. Also maybe there’d be some Erin Gray type chick that I could totally hook up with.
