The fact that they’re the only outlet, with the possible exception of Pravda, that isn’t reporting this story just makes them look even more elitist than they already are. It’s no wonder FOX beats them to the punch so often on football stories.

Because, sadly, Roethlisberger is still a "golden boy" and someone the media adores. He's a big, strong, white athlete leading one of the most famous franchises in pro sports. I guarantee you that if Kobe Bryant was white, his rape allegations wouldn't have gotten 3/4 as much coverage as they did.

Word out of Pittsburgh is that the Red Soxs have traded for Adam LaRoche.

Hmm, it will be interesting to see who gets bumped off the Red Sox roster for LaRoche.

Los Angeles Lakers point guard Shannon Brown has been notified of an intent to sue him in civil court for an alleged sex-related incident with a woman in Denver, Brown's agent, Mark Bartelstein confirmed to ESPN's Shelley Smith on Sunday.

WEEI today brought up this story on Shannon Brown's civil case from a month ago. What makes it funny is ESPN put one of their own reporters on the story. It's been a rough week for tWWL. I almost feel bad for them.
