I am going to start out with what has the internet and blogs a buzz this morning: Erin Andrews. She is an absolutely beautiful woman. The woman is a classy beautiful, like Grace Kelly. She also seems pretty cool, and someone you would want to have a Mountain Dew with. It is no wonder blogs and commenters fawn over her at times. You see students constantly holding up We Love Erin signs at college football and basketball games, and it is all pretty harmless. However, the news that came out yesterday that some creep drilled peepholes to videotape her while she was in her hotel room is disturbing. There is nothing right about it. It is one thing when a celebrity foolishly videotapes themselves having sex, or parading around nude in photos. Usually it gets leaked by the person they were with in those videos, but no longer have a relationship with. But invading someones privacy like that is just absolute deplorable. Hopefully they catch this guy and prosecute him to the fullest extent. I just hope it isn’t in the Orlando area, and Trey ends up having to represent him.
Finally, kudos to all the blogs out there that have chastised what happened. Hopefully the MSM picks up that this is not a result of blogs, but some sick bastard that should be beaten like a pinata.
Onto the links.
Even thought Brandon Marshall is not very fond of the organization he is playing for, he promises to report to camp on time. Probably a good idea. Marshall already has a reputation as a prima donna, and if he wants to get traded, he needs to wise up.
Maybe the Belichick descendants should try being themselves and less like Bill. At least the Pats coach won a couple Super Bowls as a head coach before he developed his rep for being an ass and a liar.
Matt Jones still doesn’t have a team to show up to camp on time for. Looks like the league is saying what Matt should have just said; “no.”
The Washington Redskins gave up a 3rd and 6th round draft pick in next years draft to have the rights to Jeremy Jarmon in this years supplemental draft. How many good players have come out of the supplemental draft? Not many. I only count 3. Again, they were only good. Bernie Kosar, Dave Brown Mike Wahle and Cris Carter.
You can watch every mind-numbing preseason game on the NFL Network.
Tennessee is on schedule to class up Neyland Stadium. They have to do something with all the negative attention that Lane Kiffin has been bringing the football program.
Former Utah and current Florida Gators coach, Urban Liar Oscar Meyer Wiener, says that Utah could not survive the grind of the SEC. I agree with him. You hear that MWC fans?!?!
I found this funny, everyone yesterday was running with the story that Army and Notre Dame would play a game in Yankee Stadium. They all say “sources.” It was all over Twitter too. You want a source? I will give ya a source.
They may not have much of an academic standard to get kids in USF to play football, but they are at least gaining some accountability once they are there.
You want to know why Penn State won’t make the BCS championship? Well, they won’t win more than 9 games anyway, but you want to know why theoretically they won’t make the game even if they do better? Weak schedule. Shocker. Penn State rarely plays a tough OOC schedule.
Did You Know? Did you know that Michigan State is the last Div 1-A (now the FBS school) to put a Div 1-AA (or FCS team) on their schedule? Montana State will be the first victim.
Souvenir City has been doing a bunch of lists lately on college football. Yesterday it was on Big Ten rivalries. Seriously? Penn State and Michigan State gets on there, but not Michigan/Michigan State? Where the hell is the Paul Bunyan Trophy?
D-Wade leaving Converse for some company called Nike. I didn’t even know that Converse still made basketball shoes except for the classic Chuck Taylors.
If you see a SAE licking the road in Wisconsin, there is good reason.
Speaking of beer, Starbucks plans on selling it. Barbucks!
I guess they were afraid their roid rage would leave to a catastrophic event.
Mikey, here is some really good news for you if you can cut back, just a tad.

Erin Andrews is not all that.

is your wife standing behind you or something?

I think we all know my standards are not so high as to turn Erin Andrews down. She’s babealicious.
(Quote)
I think it’s the ditzy blonde thing that turns me off.
/is it Fall yet?
(Quote)
what are you talking about? she is more prepared and sounds more intelligent than any other sideline reporter.
(Quote)
cool, i’m going to be in wisconsin tonight
(Quote)
Actually, I don’t think I have ever seen her do an interview. I am judging her solely on internet articles and pictures. Judging her book by her cover, she seems like a ditzy blonde.

Usually, my boys make me change the channel to watch cartoons when they get up. But since I’ve been watching the Tour in the morning, they’ve allowed me to watch the bicycling racing, and they like it.

Erin Andrews is the perfect sideline reporter. Shame that some pervert felt a need to do that. Fear not I don’t represent too many video voyuerism crimes

if what happened to EA is really true, then I really feel bad for her. at some point, the pictures/video will be leaked and it’s going to be very embarassing and potentially cause her to be very paranoid for the rest of her life.

Cris Carter was more than good.

ha, waiting for someone to take me to task on that. but apparently not hall worthy (yet). I really have no idea how he isn’t in the hall???

i guess we are all cheering for Watson at this point?
(Quote)
What I want to know is how ABC tricked me into watching the senior tour. Tricky bastards.
(Quote)
i am guessing ABC is really pulling for Watson now as well, especially with no Tiger. Having one of the old guard that dominated the tour for several years 30 years ago is the only way to pull big ratings.
(Quote)
yes, baby boomers are really their core demographic, and Watson would be tremendously popular with them.

WAIT!!!! Who are we losing to on this schedule this year other than maybe Ohio State and Iowa? This team is winning more than nine games.
And this year’s schedule is as weak as it is this year because Alabama backed out of playing us this year and pushed it to the next season. They try to get one good non conference game a year (while i was there they played Miami, Nebraska twice [scheduled before they fell apart], and I think Virginia). so don’t give me that BS about them rarely playing a good schedule
They try but at the same time they need the home games to fund the athletic department

I can’t believe no one has made a Tom Watson is on the juice joke yet.

You’re losing to Purdue Johnny. hahaha I couldn’t say that with a straight face. Purdue is going to suck.

John Daly is the best. He’s the gift that keeps on giving. Closest thing to a real life Happy Gilmore we’ve seen.

Being the huge suck-up that he is, you gotta figure Tirico went into a deep funk when Woods missed the cut.
(Quote)
Tirico is a douche. I f*cking hate that guy. He tries to act all excited but it’s fake and it completely ruins the whole event.
