Seventh Inning Stretch: For Your Amusement

First off Happy Birthday to Sparty and his Friends! It has been a pretty busy summer for me and the next 2 months are pretty jam packed as well. One thing I probably won’t have time for but wish I did was making a trip to an amusement park. I have been to my fair share and can’t say I have ever had a bad time. Sure, some are better than others but a tried and true formula of roller coasters, water rides, and games is hard to screw up. Some of my favorite amusement parks include Kings Dominion, Universal Studios, Disney World’s MGM Studios, and the top of my list, Busch Gardens. Busch Gardens was the first amusement park I went to and I will never forget riding the Big Bad Wolf and the Loch Ness Monster for the first time. By today’s standards those rides might seem tame but as a 7-year old kid the huge drop of the Big Bad Wolf as it looked like you would hit the water still is etched in my mind. The Loch Ness Monster was best to ride in the front of the car, as most roller coasters are. You can’t appreciate going upside down unless you are at the front of the car. Above all of that, I would be remiss not to mention the free beer tent at Busch Gardens. That alone makes it the greatest amusement park in the history of EVAR!

How long until football season? Not only because I want to be fully invested in sports again but also because it would make it much easier to come up with things to write about every Thursday. This gig has given me a new appreciation for the job bloggers do coming up with so much content everyday (end ass kissing). For now, we will have to settle for baseball to get us through the dog days of summer.
