Tonight’s 7th Inning Stretch brought to you by sae and ‘this little green home run hitter’
One Michael Jackson note from me: I’ll remember him most for the laughter which of course brings out the wet blankets. (ok, two notes)
At my brother’s 40th birthday party this weekend, I found out that one of his high school friends who used to be kind of a computer geek quit all of that. Now he apparently buys and sells season sports tickets. I’ll have to get more details for a future 7IS, I was too busy during the party chasing my two young kids around to talk to him. That and my brother hadn’t seen him in 15-20 years, so they had a lot of catching up to do.
Does sound like a fun job though. If you could get some job in the sports world, what would you like to do? …agent, GM, manager/coach, broadcaster…
Tonight’s sports and boob-tubery…

And one final note from Wisconsin…here are some photos from the car show in my hometown this weekend:
Cruise night on Friday: My parents live a block from Lake Michigan and this highway, so we sat on the neighbor’s porch watching the parade of cars.

Doesn’t sound too good. Hard for a broken foot to heal when you’re over seven feet tall.

My first instinct says GM, but I would say head coach/manager. If i could be a waterboy for the Giants right now, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Yahoo had the story early this afternoon. SC must be “confirming” it.

it came across as BREAKING NEWS at the top of the 6 o’clock hour.

Rockets could lose Yao for season, if not longer
Only 5 hours behind Yahoo.

I’d prefer to be an owner or a player, nothing in between. As much as we all think we’d make the ideal GM, it’s a tough job and has virtually no job security. As a player, you’re paid millions to play a game. As an owner, you’re likely already a billionaire with front row seats and get to sit back and boss everybody else around. Win-win either way.

frickin brewers should be winning 10-0 by now, but i guess i can’t complain too much about 3-0

Looks like an American Idol Michael Jackson encore presentation for me tonight. Or maybe I’ll just go to bed.

so let me get this straight….either yao will heal or he wont
can we just put it at 50/50 and stop with all of the what ifs?

Yao’s career is over. Too tall to heal properly.
