He's not worth it yet, but if he continues to improve (outside shot and free throws) and his play and is consistent next season he'll have a decent argument for the money.

Shaq is a terrible fit for the Lebrons. He can’t run the floor so they’ll have to play halfcourt basketball. He can’t shoot a jumper so he’ll be clogging up the lane making it more difficult for Lebron to drive. Cleveland already doesn’t have outside shooters to spread the floor. Now they’ll have a center who can’t spread the floor either. Ilgauskis is a better fit because he goes out and makes jumpers bringing the opponent’s big man out and making life easier for Lebron.
