1.5 months until football camps beginPlaxico’s lawyers are hoping to push off the trial for as long as possible, could that mean that he will be staying in the Meadowlands? Maybe. The Jets would love to have him.
Brandon Marshall is an official NFL WR, complete with holdout.
Vince Young has been committed. No wait, he says he is committed.
When you win a championship together, you build a bond. Mike Ditka is behind the efforts to help the Fridge.
Hoping the best for Eagles DC Jim Johnson, as he goes through Chemo.
Now that the Chargers are entering their prime, Norv Turner will have to work extra hard to mess them up.
Petey to the Rays? Good, let the Yanks tattoo him again.
El Duque trying to catch on with the Rangers. Seriously, isn’t he receiving Social Security by now?
Minute Maid Park seller could lose liquor license.
Bud Selig is calling for a 10% reduction in draft picks contracts.
When you have a starting pitcher who is now hitting 98MPH on the gun, do you really want to trade him?
Pat Riley is sticking around Miami. Why would he want to go coach LeBron for 1 season, when he is just a year away from having him and Wade on South Beach?
Now that Patrick Ewing is sticking around Orlando, maybe he can teach Dwight a baseline shot.
Shaq to Cleveland? Why not? Shaq has already rode the coattails of the other 2 superstar players in this league to a title.

It’s not so much the Lakers as it is their fans…after every shot I don’t need to hear how great Kobe is…I just saw him hitthat fade away three off the dribble with 2 defenders on him…
He’s good.

There’s never a good way to go out. Still there were 28 other teams that weren’t in the Finals. We showed a lot of heart and resiliency in the playoffs, including the Finals. And we didn’t embarrass ourselves along the way. We don’t have ALL the pieces yet, but it will be nice if the MSM are forced to mention the Magic in the same breath as the other elite teams for the foreseeable future. I don’t know if it was my thick homer glasses, but ABC/ESPN seemed to have a hard-on of epic proportions for the Lakers. Glad I don’t have to suffer that anymore. Losing sucks, to be sure. But the best team won and that is how it is supposed to work, right? (I know what you Red Wings fans are thinking) So I tip my hat to the Lakers and say, see you in the finals next year!

Yea, I don’t expect him to get picked up anywhere…at least not anywhere good. He’s done.

Knightro, the crowd leaving the game still chanted “Let’s go Magic!” no one was just happy to be there, but they understood.
To not put the Magic as a contender next years is nuts.
