Other than game 1, this has been a great series for NBA fans. The games have been close, hard fought, and exciting. I think this series is even better than a Cavs-Lakers series since the Magic and Lakers have so many weapons. The Cavs just have LeBron.

I have one box and the rest of the TVs just get whatever analog channels we had. We used to get everything under channel 100 on all the TVs except for the pay channels. Now since everything is going digital, we lost half the stations so I might have to get anotehr box. At that point it may pay to switch over to Verizon. Worst part is I will have to memorize a new channel lineup.

This 0-8 thing against teh Red Sox is surreal to me. As a Yankee fan, I just have to keep saying that it will turn around and they are only 2 games out with almost 2/3’s of the season left.
I do feel Girardi went two batters too much with Sabathia. It was obvious he was gassed and trying to overthrow and had no control due to fatigue. He threw 123 pitches. If it was a 6 or 7 run game, then OK. That kind of shows where the Red Sox are far superior to the Yanks – in their bullpen.
When the Yanks won a record number of games in 98, it was the bullpen that was the really amazing part of that team. They were up there with the top teams in most categories but nothing eye popping – except for the fact that they would score runs late and other teams didn’t.
Mets even blew another lead. So did Orlando for that matter but at this point I am waiting for the Kobe video, “Shaq, How does my ass taste.”

I pay around $110/mo too and I locked it in for the next 2 yrs for all 3 services…all because I was switching from DirecTV. And they threw in MLB free for the rest of the year. You just can’t commit to anything until they keep trying to sell you more…and then when you get what you want, you can agree to continue using them…long pauses where you sound like you’re really having trouble settling on their deal work great.
