Diamondbacks 9 Padres 6 (18 innings)- This game is right up Miz’s alley; 2 baseball games in one. It took almost 6 hours to complete, and the D’backs actually no-hit the Padres in the 2nd set of nine innings. That was after their bullpen surrendered a 6-0 lead in the first 9 frames. Mark Reynolds hit a 3-run homer in the 18th to put Arizona ahead, and Leo Rosales retired the bottom of the 9th to secure the win.
Mets 7 Nationals 0 - Raise your hand if you said the Nats would suck?!? Congrats, you and 99.9% of the population were correct. Natsfan is part of the .1% that were delusional. They Nats fell to 15-40 as we near the halfway mark of the 1st half of the season. Livian Hernandez is somehow the Mets second best pitcher.
Rangers 6 Red Sox 3 - The Rangers were obviously just saving all their hits for Sunday, rather than Saturday when Jon Lester shut them down. Nelson Cruz fell a single short of the cycle, as he led the 12 hit attack of the Rangers against Dice-K. Vicente Padilla, who was put on waivers earlier in the week, picked up the victory for Texas.
Yankees 4 Rays 3 - The Yanks just love comeback victories this season. Trailing 3-1 in the 8th, the Yanks used patience at the plate, as the y forced in 3 runs to get back in front of division rival Tampa. After allowing 4 runs the previous day, Mariano Rivera pitched a perfect 9th to get the save and put the Yanks back in first.
A’s 3 Orioles 0 – Now that June is here, the A’s are starting to put together wins, like they do.
Blue Jays 4 Royals 0 - Doesn’t matter that it was the light hitting Royals. Roy Halladay is a machine, and might be the most under-appreciated pitcher of the last 25 years. The guy just gets the job done like a number 1 pitcher is supposed to. 97 pitches with no walks. Incredible.

Hate the WBC, not the player.
Except when the player decides to throw approximately 27,000 pitches during the exhibition tournament. Then you can hate the player.
So, I guess I’m saying that I see your point. Big D(Quote)
patphish nailed you guys in his post. sparty(Quote)
He’s just incredibly painful to watch…and now that Lester and Beckett have picked things up, it makes it that much worse. john(Quote)
