How does this even happen?

By sparty

NUGGETS 121

Hornets 63

Melo

The biggest blowout loss in NBA history happened back in 1991, when Cleveland destroyed Miami 148-80.  Miami had only been in existence for 3 years, and the Cavs were stacked with Larry Nance, Mark Price and everyone’s favorite NASCAR analyst, Brad Daugherty. But that was a regular season game, and Miami won 38 games all year, while the Cavs finished with 57

Last I checked, the Hornets had one of the best players in the league on their team in Chris Paul, right?  So how the hell does a 49 win team lose a playoff game by 58 pts?
