NFL Draftees: What Exit are you?

By sparty

map_of_new_jerseyWhat state represented better than any other in the 1st round of the NFL Draft?  New Jersey, of course!

When NJ residents meet one another, they usually explain where they live to one another by saying what exit they are off of the NJ Turnpike. After looking at the towns, the bulk of the 7 players from the Garden State would be better off using the Garden State Parkway instead (thin Green Line on the map above).

Pick #8 Exit 137: Eugene Monroe – Plainfield,

Pick #9 Exit 166: BJ Raji – Washington Twp

Pick #12 Exit 114: Knowshon Moreno – Middletown

Pick #14 Exit 131: Malcom Jenkins – Piscataway

Pick #15 Exit 171: Brian Cushing – Park Ridge

Pick #27 Exit 109: Donald Brown – Red Bank

Pick #30 Exit 142: Kenny Britt – Bayonne (Note: one would be better off using Turnpike)

By the way, I am exit 165 if anyone cares…

Oh geez…here comes the Jersey jokes…

    I’ll start it.

Why do the seagulls fly upside
    down in New Jersey?

    Because they can’t find anything
    worth crapping on

I’ve been in all 50 states. New Jersey is the state I spent the least amount of time in. I crossed over a bridge in Philadelphia, drove a mile down then crossed back over to Philly.

I love how the guy from the state that we write a post called “Floriduh” about throws the first grenade.

Q: Why is New Jersey called “The Garden State”?

A: Because “Oil and Petrochemical Refinery State” wouldn’t fit on a license plate?

New Jersey has long been one of the best places to recruit north east talent. When Rutgers started to be able to recruit NJ, they got better fast. Similar story with UConn. Of course those were some of the players that used to go to Syracuse …

Q: What do you get when you cross a New Jerseyite and a monkey?

    A: A retarded monkey.

you know it is bad in your state when you look forward to a long weekend in Bethlehem, PA.

The reason we get the “Floriduh” tag is because Jersey sends us all their rejects…they aren’t true Floridians.

Bullshit. the majority of the stories happen in Hillsborough, Escambia and Orange County. Not Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade.
