This just in to the Sparty & Friends newsroom: Rumors circulating that Memphis sports radio has just reported that UK’s offer to Cal is $7mil/year. More to come as we receive information…
Update: A player to be named later has all but confirmed the rumor that Calipari will be leaving Memphis.

Update: Geoff & Gary (Calkins and Parrish, respectively) of 730 AM FoxSports radio in Memphis are saying they’re certain he’s gone and the offer is 6 years, $40 mil.
UPDATE: (5:22 pm) I heard a rumor that Newschannel 5 in Memphis was reporting that Cal was staying due to a matched offer. So, I called them and the lady I spoke with told me that they only reported that they were told Memphis matched the offer and he is now considering it….
The Commercial Appeal is reporting that Cal is meeting with Memphis boosters who are trying to convince him to stay.
UPDATE: (6:01 pm) GatorTrey called a Lexington radio station and reports, “took 2-3 times because it was busy. Got through to WLEX Channel 18, who said it is not a done deal yet” regarding Coach Cal to KY.
