So, after four straight days of survive-and-advance, do-or-die, sudden-death, single-elimination hoops, we’re supposed to just chillax and wait for more for three days!? This is ridiculous, egregious, incorrigible – that word doesn’t exactly fit, I just wanted to use it.
Anywho, it’s Monday. For you losers out there with jobs, I hope it was just like most other Mondays…i.e. crappy! However, for all of us, we’ve got three days off of NCAA tourney hoops so we’ve gotta fill the time with something else, I guess. I would propose making up for lost time and hanging out with your respective families, but who wants to do that!? Not us; that’s for sure. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be hanging around this joint, huh?

Hate to be the one to put a conspiracy theory spin on this, but just last week the French announced that they’d be doing even more intense doping tests on Lance Armstrong this week, determined to prove that he was cheating. Now, suddenly, he has a crash and is questionable for the TdF? The guy’s a national hero here and a national villain there, so I might be on the wrong side of the fence with this one… but does anyone else find anything strange with the timing on this one?

Big D, there was a pile up with 30 other riders. Broken collar bones are one of the most common injuries when a cyclist crashes. No conspiracy theory needed.
Also, I am fairly convinced that Lance is not doping now. I am not saying he never doped, just that he is not doping now. His retort is that he was the most tested athlete in the world (which is probably true) and never tested positive. If he loses now, well he is just too old and nobody can take away his previous success. If he tests positive, he loses his entire image. Well due to this blog, I started watching watching 24 this season. Maybe I needed to watch the previous seasons but I actually like the show. It is DVR’ed now every Monday and I look forward to it. But to me, it is just another good action adventure show. I find the plot a little too silly and contrived at times with some plot flaws to really love it or want to go back and watch previous seasons.
Lost is my one drama show that I have to see. After that is is just sports, news and nature shows. Yes, I am a closet nature show junkie. cycledan(Quote)
