Good morning. Today is a great day, the best Sunday since the first Sunday of February. Selection Sunday. Being a UConn fan, this day has always been about where and when. The Huskies are never “on the bubble”. We either have a great year and get in as a top 4 seed, or we are rebuilding and aren’t close to getting in. So I will spend today outside planting stuff, painting stuff, just basically trying to get through the day as quickly as possible. Seeding isn’t that important to me, my boys have won as a number 1 and as a number 2. They will get one of those again this year as they begin their 6 game winning streak, thus fulfilling my prediction of being the FNCUH.
The Huskies deserve a # 1 seed, as does Pitt, North Carolina and Louisville. The # 2’s should be Memphis, Michigan State, D00k, and Oklahoma. Make no mistake, as of this second, the best team in the country is Rick Pitino’s Cardinals. Memphis will probably get the nod over UConn, which is fine. They will get the second seed in the east, thus setting up a potential UNC vs UConn, preseason #1 vs #2, in the regional final. Winner of that game cuts down the nets.

Good God, he is beginning to look more like Jordan every game. I’m serious, this team has very little else and he just takes over.

Well I am back from the beach and I just wanted to let everyone know that the spring break honeys are as lovely as ever! On the downside, I missed all the upset action the past 2 days. Condolences to sparty, trey, patphish, etc. Congrats to cycledan, miz, jen, kwsn, etc. It’s given us a crazy end to the prelims and enhances the true madness of March. Good luck to all of your teams that made/will make it to the Dance. I will make my prediction later in the week, but I am going to go out on a limb and say that GITC’s streak ends at 11.
