The Madness has begun!!!
How cliche was that!? I wonder how many websites/newspapers/media entities have used that phrase over the past week? Probably a lot; so why not one more, right? At any rate, it’s true. The Madness has begun and I have to say it’s been quite maddening so far. There were some madly-close games yesterday throughout the various conference tournaments with plenty of upsets…hopefully giving us a taste of what’s to come during the madly-maddening-madness known as the Big Dance that starts in LESS THAN A WEEK!!

I am exhausted. Tough basketball week for me as a Syracuse fan but all in a good way.
Also, my son’s CYO team fell down by 7 points – twice in the game. However they (can I say we since I am coaching?) came back, took a 4 pt lead and held on for a 2 point victory. Game at 7:15 tonight and if we win, then the championship is Wednesday.
I also went to my friend’s house on the way home after my son’s game to watch Syracuse. I just started laughing when the game went to OT again. They have played 35 extra minutes of basketball so it is more like they have played 4 games in 3 days. I can’t see how they can have anything in the tank left for tonight but we’ll see.
Also going to be interesting to see who the #1 seeds are going to be.
