There were only six games in the NBA last night but that doesn’t mean that they dissapointed. The Cavs beat up the Raptors as Stud LeBron had a bunch of highlight plays including an absolutly sickening left-handed, weak-side, clean block on Chris Bosh trying to dunk. The Wolves went into Indiana and beat the Pacers despite the best efforts of Stud Danny Granger. Andre Igoudala thought he hit a game winner with 6.8 seconds left against the Celtics, but then the Sixers decided that, even though he is undoubtedly one of the top five shooters of all time, Ray Allen didn’t need to be guarded. Wrong. Jesus for three… ballgame. The Nets beat the Bucks (who are falling apart without Michael Redd) behind a strong effort by Stud Brook Lopez. The Rockets beat the Bulls because the Bulls had nobody to guard Stud Yao Ming. Carmelo was the Stud of the Day as the Nuggs beat the Spurs by eight at home without their big three on the floor. Why? I’ll let Pop take that one… “Parker makes the All-Star team and becomes hard to deal with, so we’re going to sit him and teach him a lesson. Duncan says he wants to renegotiate his contract, so I said, ‘Sit, I’m not talking to you.’” Needless to say, he was kidding. I still say that Manu didn’t play because he’s a jerk though. Lists and top 10 plays are after the jump.

Wow, you kept your favorite All Star snub off the Studs list, even though he had a triple double? That’s vinsanity!

consistent. no pp. whoa.
(Quote)
that’s because the first line in his program is:
if player=”paul pierce” then multiply all stats by 0.5

Wow, an if/then/else statement… haven’t seen those in 15 years.

The new part of GITC’s formula that I’ve figured out, is that it has a pro-bias towards Danny Granger, because he didn’t have a better game than Pierce did last night.

@ John:
Neither did Yao, but he’s up there too.
One of these days, Pierce is dropping 50+ on a good defensive team. He’ll probably be the #1 Dud that day

i think gitc dings shooting percentage pretty hard: PP 43.5, vince had the triple double but shot 3-12

good point, sae. all the studs have a shooting percentage greater than 50% except for Lebron and his is 45%.
