How stupid do I, Dahntay Jones, look? Very stupid? Good. That's what I was going for. I went to Duke.
Every time that a former Blue Devil is the Dud of the Day, that former Blue Devil should expect to get his picture put up in this space. It’s just a fact of life. Last night was basically supposed to be a full slate that people overlooked amongst a great bowl game in college football and the looking forward that everyone is doing to the games on Christmas. But then some really interesting stuff happened. Joe Johnson dropped a triple double on the lowly Thunder (now 3-26) despite the fact that he hadn’t reached double digits in either rebounds or assists at any time this season. Not a good sign for the Thunder. The Cavs and Wiz kept heading in their respective directions as the Wiz lost to the Bobcats (lead by Stud of the Day Emeka Okafor) and the Cavs beat the Rockets to stay unbeaten at home. The Nets beat the Pacers on a jumper by Stud Devin Harris with 0.4 seconds left in a play you are sure to see in the Top 10 Plays below. The Celtics and Lakers won again (Celtics now 27-2, 19 game win streak, best start in NBA history) leading up to their game tomorrow. Stud Rodney Stuckey scored 40 to lead the Pistons past the Bulls. The Blazers returned the favor and beat the Nuggets (minus Carmelo). There was also a trade in the NBA today as the Rockets sent Steve Francis, a 2nd round pick that they originally got from the Grizzlies, and cash, to Memphis for a conditional 2011 pick. Not much to say there really. No NBA tonight in preparation for tomorrow’s awesome slate of games. I will be here live blogging so stop by if you are looking to avoid family or Jesus in the case you aren’t Christian. Full lists and top 10 after the jump…

Stuckey dropped 40 on the Bulls like it was nothing (probably because the Bulls’ defense is non-existent). Anyway, great game by the youngster.
Too bad that there isn’t a Denver – Portland game every night. Never boring.
