Last night’s ESPN double header was incredible. I watched every play first of the Celtics and Hawks and then of the Hornets and Spurs. The Celtics came from behind on the Hawks thanks to a Joe Johnson missed free throw at the end to extent their win streak to 16 games and their record to 24-2 on the season. They may make it to Christmas Day against the Lakers with a record of 27-2 and a 19 game winning streak. This would be awesome and as I am Jewish… livebloggable. In the Hornets victory over the Spurs, Stud CP3 got a steal to make him the only player in the history of the NBA to have a steal in 106 straight games. The Pacers outran the Warriors thanks to Stud of the Day Danny Grangers 40+ points for the second time in five days. The Sixers and Bucks played one of the ugliest games of the season that got even uglier when Elton Brand was undercut and dislocated his shoulder. Still no word on how long he’ll be out. Stud the JET helped the Mavs fly past the Raptors in Toronto with a little help from Chris Bosh having a really terrible game. Stud LeBron destroyed the T’Wolves and got a standing ovation when he left the game… on the road. Right. Stud Marcus Camby got 27 rebounds to lead the Clips to a loss against the Bulls. Check out the rest of the lists after the jump plus top 10 plays from last night.

What is the NBA record for most consecutive wins?
(Quote)
the Answer is:
Most consecutive games won
33 LA Lakers (11/5/71 – 1/7/72)
20 Milwaukee (2/6/71 – 3/8/71)
19 LA Lakers (2/4/00 – 3/13/00)

so who is reaping the benefits of Rodney Stuckey on their fantasy team?
(Quote)
Not me. Stuckey is killing Tayshaun’s offensive numbers.
(Quote)
What about last years Rockets with 22 wins?
(Quote)
i almost forgot about that rockets win streak.
(Quote)
Stopped by Cs of course.
(Quote)
sae has Stuckey.
(Quote)
the stuckey, rip and iverson trio has done well. Sheed and Tay have been poopy since the roster move.
(Quote)
I wouldn’t mind having Stuckey with those assist numbers.
(Quote)
I’m going to trade sae Ricky Davis for Stuckey.
/YGG!

i told you that his numbers would go up drastically.

Why the hell did the FBB post get pushed back in time? It’s now after Big D’s post but before Sammy.

Amazing how a player’s numbers go up when they go from a reserve to a starter.
(Quote)
crap, my yahoo team is falling apart.

imagine if i didn’t trade zach for ricky
yeah, i swapped stuckey for sessions whose play had been declining lately…part of my 5 PG lineup

unless that player is ginobolli. he is much better as the 6th man.
(Quote)
i am very excited about Happy Hour.
(Quote)
speaking of ginobli
gitc, since you watched both of the games did you catch the announcer asking if there’s a more exciting player than ginobli?
(Quote)
Ginobili is actually best as a balding Argentinian crybaby flopper if you want to be specific.

sae-
I actually yelled at the screen.
(Quote)
gitc, i almost spit up my beer. especially considering some of the plays cp3 was making in the 2nd half

you have to mute sports now. the only one i like is jaws, because he is no longer pandering on MNF. he just seems annoyed by Tony K.
Tony: “why would they run a trick play. why not just run a simple play. why would you do something like that?”
Jaws:”because they thought it would work.”
Tony: “well, yeah.”
(Quote)
Jaws is awful…he’s like that oofy uncle that shows up drunk to the family picnic and then tries to make stupid jokes.
(Quote)
no way. he has been so much better this year. he cannot be at his best because tony is acting like a douchebag.
