Sick fantasies aside, the holidays are quickly approaching. So Happy Hour might be a little shorter for some, especially those who still haven’t gotten all their shopping done. Actually, I didn’t get into hockey until college. My parents were southern Minnesota farm family people, so Hockey did not exist (baseball and baskeyball did, though). I took in a couple of Gopher games in high school, and at one game the guy sitting next to me was explaining it to his girlfriend. I listened in, started to understand and it was downhill from there.
Also helps to live in a hockey state.

plus, pokerstars has a relatively new game that I’m loving. 10 players start, 5 double their money. Conservative play gets you in the top five 9/10 times. Completely believable. On the msn gaming zone if you play hearts or spades after a while if you win a high percentage the cards get really bad. They have a program to help out bad players so they don’t give up. Believe me I know probabilities, it is a sure thing that it’s true. If it happens there it is bound to happen on a certain percentage of poker sites.

i’ve been told that chicago stadium was unbelievable for blackhawks games, but it was closed down before i moved here. no urge to go to the UC. i’ve seen the chicago wolves at Allstate Arena which isn’t too bad
