feagles is unreal at directional punting.

gitc–I totally f-ed up by forgetting to set my lineup for last night and you’d be down in points right now..and missing Brand in the beginning hurt my rebound totals this week.
(Quote)
gitc–Should’ve only been 5-3, but you would’ve won anyway….totally need Boozer back too.
(Quote)
this game is too frustrating to watch from bed right now. might drive the wife nuts.

rek-
Your loss is my gain. Two words:
Paul. Milsap.
(Quote)
i hate head to head. roto is so much better.
(Quote)
i can’t think of an opening for TMA….
(Quote)
gitc–What I should’ve done is not forget to set my roster which would’ve put me at more points than you…and then if I replaced Azubuike for someone who might shoot a 3 I could’ve tied…but c’est la vie…it was my “miz moment” for the week…congrats on capitilizing on my mistakes.
sparty–If this was roto, I don’t think I’d be where I’m at.
(Quote)
was that eli throwing to the wrong spot? did Hixon or Ward run the wrong route? WTF?!?!?!

Based on the standings as of what I just looked at, here’s what it would look like it the fantasy roundball were a roto league:
sparty–58
sae–57
bigd–56
ill–54
john–50
gitc–44
rek–38
trey–30
miz–29
mikey–23
(Quote)
mikey–Yea, anything can happen…I just wish I could get a healthy team…or at least keep some of my starts healthy…I can’ drop any of them and am pretty much stuck at only having one hot swappable slot.
(Quote)
Do the Giants not have an O-line?
This looks like what they did to the Pats in the superbowl
(Quote)
better learn to hit a check down receiver.
they should consider running no huddle to change things up.

Since i was curious I looked at the stats of Penn State and USC and everybody that they played
I compared the PSU offense to the average defense that they face and found that they were 38.98% better scoring than what those defenses normally gave up
USC’s offense was 30.44% better than the defenses they faced
PSU’s defense held the offenses they faced to 50.97% off their normal game
USC’s defense held them to 69.49 off their normal scoring output
when averaged the PSU’s offense and USC’s defense result and applied to the normal scoring output for PSU’s i got a score of 27.91
When averaged the USC’s offense and PSU’s defense I got a score of 29.80
Rounding up the final score of the Rose Bowl should be USC 30 and PSU 28
Can you tell that I’m an engineer yet
(Quote)
they should be in the no huddle, wasting so much time
(Quote)
Engineer? I thought you were GITC.
(Quote)
mikey, check your email?
(Quote)
yeah…that one was pretty funny too….
can you believe people are still going on and on about that…almost like…what ? do u get on the internet once a month?
(Quote)
yeah…i gotcha sparty…i think we are almost getting to the point where we need to get a schedule for the daily posts….what do you think?
(Quote)
I had time and was curious to see if USC’s defense was really good or if it was just the offenses the played but I came to the conclusion that USC’s defense is REALLY good
(Quote)
the cowboys winning at the expense of losing romo kind of defeats the purpose dontcha think?
(Quote)
nice safety though…. but wtf?
(Quote)
i got a +10 from knightro on this comment, should count for something:

(Quote)
sae…that was fucking classic….i remember that and vote for it
(Quote)
did like your comment on tater nation earlier though
(Quote)
well…i am not being self effacing here…but yours was a comment – mine was just an honest observation
(Quote)
thanks, mikey. yeah we should get that right for this week
(Quote)
Giants = Frauds??
/clown’d
(Quote)
as long as its always flexible and not hef’d
we are getting a bit too popular to miss too many steps
(Quote)
time for sparty to turn off the game, me thinks
(Quote)
we moved up 8 spots to #90 overall….after about another two weeks we should be front page
(Quote)
see you tomorrow sparty
(Quote)
sigh….gilbride better figure out his play calling
(Quote)
Anybody think Tashard Choice would get 24 fantasy points in a game that Marion Barber started?
(Quote)
rek-playing without their starting RT, RG, WR, and RB.
(Quote)
While I’ve enjoyed the past 2 weeks of Giants football, this Dallas win hurts my Eagles chances of making the playoffs…not that I really think they’ll get things to fall into place to make it.
(Quote)
spart–Yea, I know…just getting it in while I can.
(Quote)
But I thought your Earth-Wind-Fire would be able to hold its own without one of them…and Burress can’t be an excuse anymore.
(Quote)
so pool play coomes down to points i think…everyone has phi
sparty has 56
sae has 45
(Quote)
GITC, I sure wish someone let me know that was gonna happen.
(Quote)
not looking good. papers are going to cry for a tailspin tomorrow in NYC. here will be their critical questions:
1. Again, why not use the no huddle to slow down the pass rush?
2. Why abandon the run so early?
3. Why were there not more screen and draws, and throws to a check down receiver?
4. Why didn’t Bradshaw play more?
the last will not be a question….
5. Plaxico Burress stupidity cost the Champs a shot at the title.
That will be the tomorrows Post, Daily News, and Newsday.
(Quote)
3-5 locked up is miz, mikey, and jpmanahan
(Quote)
It is not an excuse, but a big reason why the run game is stalling (and Jacobs not playing) teams cheated a safety towards Plax all the time. they could not put 8 in the box, or try to blitz from his side. He was also their best blocking receiver.
(Quote)
Damn…/this is the first week I’m not getting points in the pool…not fun.
(Quote)
TO blames it on Werder. CLassic.
(Quote)
TO blames Ed Werder for the whole TO/Romo/Witten thing this past week…they seem A-OK standing next to each other now…and Romo joked about it.
(Quote)
thats funny TO blaming ed werder
(Quote)
don’t matter, philly is gonna beat them the last week and steal the playoff spot from them.
(Quote)
Giants……….peaked early?
(Quote)
sparty–Gotcha on Plax…makes sense…we’ll see how it plays out.
(Quote)
peaked early? pat, they are missing their two best offensive players. their defense was still solid as hell.
(Quote)
wow…in pool challenge we are down to EIGHT guys after this week with two weeks to go
jb got zero ppoints and miz pulled within 2 pts of the lead (1.84 down)
(Quote)
it was a question, not a statement.
(Quote)
if i am losing after week 17 by less than 5 pts, i am throwing week 1 out the door.
/sarcasm?
(Quote)
I would love for the Eagles to smoke the Cowgirls in the season finale and make it to the playoffs after the way this season has been.
mikey–Looking at the standings from last week, a lot more people will be knocked outta the pool after this week.
(Quote)
mikey–We’re on the same wavelength again…weird.
(Quote)
i can tell you now that
jb
miz
rek
mikey
sparty
gitc
gatortrey
sae
are the only ones left
(Quote)
mikey-
Am I still in?
(Quote)
5 of the 8 left are writers for this site…conspiracy or well-picked staff?
(Quote)
I guess that’s a yes.
(Quote)
I knew I should’ve changed my pick to Dallas…I thought about it yesterday, but decided to stay with my original pick…damn.
(Quote)
unless gal in the corner took your spot
(Quote)
well, get ready for a week of non stop Dallas SportsCenter.
(Quote)
Well, I’ve gotta get some points next week to stay in it I think…hoping for the best.
I’m done for the night…this headache is annoying.
(Quote)
From the Ralph Vacchiano during the game: They will now also be playing the rest of the game without RT Kareem McKenzie, who is out with an injured back.
Meanwhile, on the opening kickoff, LB Gerris Wilkinson and RB Reuben Droughns appeared to collide, which resulted in a sprained knee for Wilkinson and a burner for Droughns. Rookie S Kenny Phillips left the game in the second quarter with a head injury. DT Justin Tuck left the game briefly after aggravating his lower leg injury. And apparently G Rich Seubert had to have an IV at halftime.
(Quote)
jb 22.74
miz 20.9
rek 15.15
mikey 15.85
gitc 12.84
trey 12.8
sae (minimum 12.61 which would eliminate him – or max 13.61)
sparty (minimum 17.17 maximum 18.14)
(Quote)
i think Clinton Portis had every injury in that paragraph.
(Quote)
with the offense sputtering like this, now i am starting to worry.
(Quote)
damn sparty…thats a hell of an infirmary report
(Quote)
when you see it look like that, they have to beat Carolina next week, even if it means being short handed. they have to. they need the bye week for guys to heal.
(Quote)
sparty-
That’s not it. It’s the fact that you canj’t afford to give the Panthers home field. They don’t lose at home.
