So you know how 33 points is a lot for a team to score in a quarter? That means that it must be an NBA record for a GUY to score in one quarter.
Some pretty good things happend in the NBA last night. Here are a few: Troy Murphy (Stud? Sure, why not) gave us a “hindsight game” (20/20) against the Raptors in the loss, The Knicks beat he cross-border rival Nets, behind Stud “Big” Al Harrington and near-Stud Wilson Chandler “Bing” (isn’t it Friends reference day?), near-Stud CP3 paced the Hornets with a 15 point, 15 assist performance against the Bobcats, the two worst teams played each other with the Grizz beating the Thunder using a 32-19 4th quarter to win by six to prove just how bad the Thunder is/are (what did I tell you about non-plural names!) as they are now 2-21 and on pace for about 7 wins, the Cavs continued to roll using the LeBron/MoWill tag-team despite a fight from Stud Andre Iguodala, the Spurs beat the Hawks despite the fact that Dud of the Day Tony Parker sucks, the Nuggets ran past the T’Wolves with Stud of the Day Carmelo leading the way with an NBA record 33 POINTS IN A SINGLE QUARTER, and the Lakers squeaked past the undermanned Suns because of Shaq’s great-grandmother’s funeral and their recent trade. Check after the jump for the full lists and the Top 10 Plays from Last Night Around the Association…

scores 33 in one 12:00 period but can’t score more than 12 in the other cumulative 36:00?
for one of the four quarters, he was on his way to 142 points in a single game. for the other three, he was on his way to 16 points in a single game.
