Happy Hour: Brady Quinn or Clark Kent?

By sparty

Back in the day (circa March 2000) when I would drink, this was my sit down and chill drink of choice.

Let’s just forget the fact that the majority of us have a DVR, and things like tonight are not even issues.  Obviously, one would just record the 1 hour show and watch the live sporting event without question.  I cannot understand how people can watch a sporting event for the first time, on their own personal tape delay.  Especially when the outcome has already been determined.

Anyway, tonight the decision comes down to this.  Do I watch Smallville at 8pm? Or do I watch the Broncos and the Browns?  Last year this wouldn’t have been an issue, because I had shitty ass Cablevision, but Verizon FiOS offers me so much more, including the NFL Network HD!  You all know that I am a Superman fan, but I am even more of an Erica Durance fan.  With that whiney and needy Lana out of the way, we get a ton more of Miss Lois Lane this season.  So, in the world where recording devices do not exist, we skip the first half debut of Gaydy Brady Quinn and watch the only show worth watching on the CW.

Not too much going on around these parts today. I am still recovering from that damn stomach bug, suffering a little Montezuma’s Revenge (TMI?).  Let’s have a quick recap:

The Morning After: NFL Preview Recap Edition.  Morons

Sparty & Friends Pigskin Pick’em:  Get Thursday Nights pick in!

Odd’s-On Favorite: Big D sucks up to Sparty and the WCNYFG Edition.

NBA Studs and Duds: When in practice, and you scratch your eye, that’s Amare!

There is a post missing from this list because somebody Miz complained that the WordPress Goblin came and ate 3/4 of his post.  But that is ok, because yesterday’s Fulmer piece received more unique views than any post evAr.  I am doubling his current pay rate.
