For those who don't know, the club house hung over the field of play in dead center and the field continued below it. There were poles holding it up but no actual wall which created a jail-like cave in dead center below the clubhouse about 505 feet away. If you were to hit the ball out of the park to dead center you would have to clear the clubhouse and it's roof because the roof was slanted back towards the field.
